Pumpkin Life Cycle Lesson Plan

PROJECT DESCRIPTION
We are giving away this lesson plan for free so your kids can party like Green Explorers Club does every Halloween season! Kids read a picture book called, "Pumpkin Jack" and discuss how the pumpkins they are about to decorate grow in the ground each year. After creating their masterpieces, students set them aside to dry while they play the candy guess game, examine the life cycle of a pumpkin activity sheet, and play our fan-favorite Halloween Trivia Game to one of the best Halloween songs around - "Monster Mash."  While this hour long session does not pack in the science and sustainability concepts of our typical lesson plans, it does give you a taste of what we do and fun afternoon with your students. 60 min | Ages 5-10
