Trees and Leaves Project Box

With our Tree ID box, your child will learn to research like an Arborist, make a tree research guide, and grow a bonsai tree. Our Trees and Leaves is part of our Environmental Leaders series.  Kids will get to know all about Kate Sessions, a.k.a. The Tree Lady!  Sessions was a botanist, horticulturalist and landscape architect who who helped transform San Diego from a dry, desert town to a lush and leafy city known for its parks and gardens.  This project box is perfect for Spring, Fall, and climates with leaves year-round and also takes a few weeks to complete so you can do it in small steps throughout the month, as a family.

All of our Project Boxes include a detailed Project Guide with background information and activity instructions, a relevant book, and most materials needed to complete the activity. For some boxes, there will be some at-home supplies needed.
